Year End Review
The end of the year
can be hectic but it often provides for brief periods of downtime that allow for
a year-end review of your website. Take a moment if you can, to objectively
review your site and determine if changes are necessary.
First, take a look
at the design and determine if it still fits your needs. Is it appealing, and is
it in keeping with your brand identity? Are all pictures on the sight current or
do they reflect your business as it is today? Do any of the graphics look dated
or out of place considering your current market?
Second, determine if
the site is easy and intuitive to navigate? Can you move around the sight
effortlessly? Do links and menu labels make sense? Are all areas of the site
still necessary and do they reflect your current business and markets?
Third, is all of the
content relevant? Does your text make sense and does it say what you want it to
say? Is your content easy to follow and does it coincide with other corporate
literature?
Finally, are there ways you can utilize your
website to save you money or time? Would a contact management system, employee
intranet or other business application help make you more efficient or
profitable?
If, after your review, you need changes or
updates made to your website, don't hesitate. Make any necessary changes as soon
as possible so you and your customers can reap the benefits. A few minutes spent
in review can assure that your site is an asset to your business.

Hmm, I Wonder! |
1. When I asked the doctor if I could administer my own
anesthetic, he said, “Go ahead. Knock yourself out.” 2.
I've always wanted to do stand up comedy, but I'm afraid that people will laugh
at me. 3. As I prepared to clean under my sofa cushions for
the first time in years I wondered, “am I ready for that much change?” 4.
I had so many blind dates I should get a free service dog. 5.
Someone stole my copy of Microsoft Office and
they're gonna pay, you have my Word. 6.
Sadly, the days of people using proper English are went.
7. The guy who invented autocorrect can
burn in hello. 8. You have to question the modus operandi
of people who use Latin for no reason. 9.
It’s going to be awkward if Mr. and Mrs. Burr ever lose their son Tim in a
forest. 10. I wonder if my vet's receptionist realizes how
many people's passwords she knows? |

Photopea
Online Image Editor
|
Photopea
Photopea is an online image editor that can
work with PSD (Photoshop) files, among many others. Along with supporting
traditional files such as Jpeg, Gif, PDF, and BMP, to name a few, Photopea also
supports XD, SVG, Sketch files and more. It was designed as a Photoshop
replacement so most image editing tasks are supported.
It is great for
cropping, resizing, adding text, creating masks, and it works with layers.
Photopea does not require a plug-in and will work with most popular browsers,
including mobile. You can even add Photopea to Google as an app.
Photopea
is free and supported by ads that can be removed with a paid subscription. It
offers a drag and drop interface, and the layout mimics Photoshop. It may be
intimidating for beginners but the learning section offers step by step
tutorials.
